since 1990 brio has defined itself as a fine dining institution in new york city. evolving every year in décor and ambience, the food has always remained the highest of quality. brio has been reviewed in countless magazines, books, and newspaper articles. in 1992 tonychi and associates design firm received awards from architectural digest for their work on brio. those years brio was also featured in the new york times, the new yorker, and the new york observer. in 1995 charles morris’ book entitled restaurant design featured brio for its design and food. recently it was featured in summer in new york, by batman, a book featuring attractive and delicious plates from the top chefs in new york. in 2004 the restaurant was reviewed by time-out magazine. in 2005 brio was featured in a book about weight loss. how the rich get thin, by jana klauer md mentioned brio as part of the “park-avenue diet”. brio was also rated "best of best" by citysearch.com, rated best in neighborhood, east 60’s in 2003 by zagat, and mentioned in ed levine’s book pizza, a slice of heaven, in 2005. brio restaurant is a place where one can enjoy authentic italian cuisine in a casually elegant atmosphere.
